5 Top Booty Lifting Exercises

Some people are gifted with a naturally lifted looking booty but some of us aren’t lucky enough to have it like that. Strength training is the key to getting a lifted booty. This is because building muscles in your glutes is what gives your butt the lifted look.     There are so many booty lifting exercises out there but today we’re only going to cover the top 5. Some of the exercises produce the best results if you use different pieces of equipment like dumbells etc. You don’t have to use the equipment but if you want great results it is the best idea. Here is some of the equipment you may need.

    Equipment

  • Set of Dumbells (choose a weight that is challenging but not overwhelming)
  • Kettlebell
  • Resistance Bands
  • Swiss Ball
  • A Step
  • Booty Lifting Exercises

    1. Step-Ups
  • Stand up straight holding your dumbbells at your sides in front of your step.
  • Put your right foot on the step making sure it’s flat against the surface. Pushing with the heel of the right foot step upbringing the left foot up onto the platform. Make sure to breathe in as you take the step.
  • Now step down with your left foot bringing it back down to the floor. And then bring the right foot back down so you are in the starting position.
  • Repeat the above steps doing 10 reps per side.
  • 2. Kettlebell Swing
  • Here is a video to show you how to do the kettlebell swing properly.
  • 3. Explosive Jumping Lunges
  • Stand up straight with a tight core and your chest up.
  • You will get into the classic lunge position. Step forward to get into position keeping your knee bent.
  • Your back will be slightly bent.
  • Place your hands on your hips
  • Using all of your force you can muster up jump into the air. Switch the leg stance while in the air.
  • Land in the lunge position and repeat the exercises. 10 reps per side.
  • 4. Pile
  • Stand with your feet apart, a little wider than shoulder distance. Turn your toes out at a 45-degree angle.
  • Bend your knees keeping your back straight and your abs tight. 
  • Squeeze your glutes and then return to the standing position.
  • 5. Lateral Band Steps
  • Place a resistance band above your knees.
  • Stand with your feet right under your hips squat halfway down.
  • Step to the side as far as you can to the right.
  • Resisting the pull of the resistance band now step with your left foot just the way you did with your right. 
  • Return to the starting position and repeat 10 steps per side. 
  • What Area Each Exercise Works

    1. Step-ups: This exercise helps burn extra calories. It trains each leg and the buttocks independently producing an incredible symmetry. This targets the glutes, hamstrings, and legs.
    2. Kettlebell Swing: This works the muscles in your glutes, hamstrings, lats, shoulders, hips, and abs. It burns a lot of calories.
    3. Explosive Jumping Lunges: Targets the glutes, hamstrings, calves, abs, hip flexors, and quads.
    4. Pile or Pile Squats: This target the glutes, inner thighs, hamstrings, and quads. 
    5. Lateral Band Steps: Works the glutes, thighs, and hips. It strengthens all 3 areas of the glutes and helps stabilize the knees and hips.

     

    These are the top 5 booty lifting exercises to get the lifted booty you’re looking for. All you have to do is add these exercises to your regular workout three times a week. It’s so much more than a lifted booty that you’ll get. You’ll be in better shape and healthy too. Within a couple of months, you’ll see the lift you are looking for.
