This makes it much easier to activate your glutes when you hit the gym later on. 

What if you don’t have a job that allows you to get up and move around a bit? Consider placing a cushion or a small towel under the lower back half of your chair. This helps you sit taller so that your glutes aren’t all the way at rest. Making lifestyle changes like walking or taking the subway to and from work can be helpful.
